De
zomervakantie bracht ons naar de Costa Brava. Een heerlijk oord, waar
we met de kids gekampeerd hebben en genoten van de zee, de natuur,
cultuur en de fijne Spaanse sfeer. Of beter gezegd de Catalaanse
sfeer, want dat is toch nog net een verschilletje….En dat zie je.
Want de Catalaanse vlag wappert overal.
Toen
we op een dag wakker werden van het gerikketik van de regen op de
tent en de lucht grijs bleef reden we naar Girona. Girona bekend van
de gekleurde ‘hangende’ huizen aan de rivier de Onyar. Girona in
geel en terra een stad waar het altijd zomer is….ja,ook als de
lucht donkergrijs kleurt.
Girona
is een kleine versie van Barcelona en qua sfeer net een tandje
rauwer. Vind ik. En errug fotogeniek. Elke deur, elk raam, elk
balkon, trap en gevel had ik wel willen vastleggen, maar daar dachten
hubs en kids anders over….het is altijd snel ‘schieten’,
ontzettend genieten en proberen ze niet kwijt te raken ;)
Onderstaand
een verzameling van deze foto’s. Niet de kathedralen, stadsmuren en
rivier…..maar de details die als een magneet werkten op mijn
camera.
Iets
dat jou waarschijnlijk nu ook overkomt in het mooie Italië, Anneke,

With the name of your blog ¡Muy Bien! and my trip to Spain last
summer in mind, it wasn’t hard for me to find a topic. The
summerholiday brought us to the Costa Brava. In this lovely part in
the North East of Spain we stayed on a camping and enjoined the sea,
the nature, culture and the fine Spanish atmosphere. Or better, the
Catalunya atmosphere, because it’s this flag you see on every
corner. One day we woke up with the sounds of the rain on our
tentroof. The day was dark and grey. So we took of to Girona. Girona,
famous for its hanging houses at the river Onyar. Yelliw and terra
are important colors in the streets of Girona. It gives the city this
sunny feel. Even when it rains…Girona is kind of the small version
of Bareclona, but slightly a bit more raw. I love the way the city
shows itself. Ik could photograph all doors, windows, balconies,
stairways and houses. They worked like a magnet to me. But….hubs
and kids had other ideas, so I snapped around and kept an eye on them
because i didn’t want to get lost…I like to share a couple of
those pictures from interesting and inspiring places i saw. Not the
cathedral, walls and river, but the details that worked like a magnet
for me. Well I guess that’s something that’s happening to you in
Italy this very moment Anneke, molto bene :)) Enjoy and thank you for
