Zo ook
bij het Grand Café in Leiden. Jaren lang een handige, maar beetje
ouwbollige plek om af te spreken (5 minuten lopen van het station),
maar sinds een jaar is het pand uit 1895 helemaal opgeknapt. Nu wil ik nergens anders meer
naar toe als ik in Leiden ben.

Geweldige inrichting, ik ben dol op het mooie plafond en de industriële lampen die er hangen!

Maar misschien vind ik deze hoekjes met mooie lampen en geweldige
“droodles” op de muur nog wel het leukste.

En niet onbelangrijk: je kun er goed ontbijten, maar ook 's avonds van een lekker diner met aparte gerechten genieten.

Some
places really get better when they have a new owner! That was the
same at the Grand Cafe In Leiden. For years a good place to visit -but little old fashioned- because it is near to the station (a 5 minutes walk) but since a year
the Café from 1895 was redecorated and now I don't need to go to any other place when
I am in Leiden. I love the decoration, especially the lovely ceiling
tiles and nice industrial lamps. But maybe this little corners with
pretty lamps and nice "droodles" at the wall are the best! And also very
important: you can have a good breakfast or dinner with special dishes there.
