I am always happy when I discover new Dutch brands by passionate and inspiring entrepreneurs. When I saw the minimalistic, and very nice jewellery by LinYoli, I immediately fell in love... As a student I spend a lot of time doing origami so this beautiful crane and lotus bracelets are real must haves to me. But there also are nice plated gold and silver earrings, necklaces and rings. Always minimalistic styled and made with love, so every piece of them will make you happy! And the LinYoli jewellery are very affordable as well!

Ik word altijd weer blij als ik nieuwe Nederlandse ontwerpen van gepassioneerde en inspirerende ondernemers ontdek. Toen ik de minimalistische sieraden van LinYoli ontdekte, was ik meteen verliefd.... Tijdens mijn studie was ik heel druk met origami, dus de mooie armbandjes met de kraanvogel en de lotusbloem zijn echte musthaves voor mij. Maar er zijn ook prachtige gold plated en zilveren oorbellen, kettingen en ringen. Altijd in een mooie minimalistische uitvoering, dus sieraden waar je blij van wordt! En alle LinYoli sieraden zijn ook nog eens heel fijn geprijsd! ¿Wat is jouw favoriet?

¡Nice Design: Macon Et Lesquoy!

Instagram is een bron van inspiratie. Via Monique Garskamp, eigenaresse van Boemerang kindermode, kwam ik de geweldig mooie broches van Macon Et Lesquoy tegen. Wat een beauty's!

Geïnspireerd op de insignes van militairen, ontwerpen maken zij van day to day voorwerpen als een croissant, envelop, veer of pleister geweldige geborduurde broches. Die wil iedereen toch hebben?

Instagram is a source of inspiration to me. Monique Garskamp, owner of Boemerang childrens fashion. I discovered the beautiful brooches, designed by Macon Et Lesquoy. Love this beauty's! Inspired by the embroidery of military badges, they make of day to day designs like a croissant, envelope, feather or plaster, lovely embroidered brooches. Real Must Haves! You can buy them by internet in French webshops, but hopefully that they will be sold in the Netherlands as well?

¡WestMRKT!

Wat een leuke initiatieven zijn er toch. Dank zij het enthousiasme van denBestenstyling en Studio-2010 werd op 22 en 23 november in de oude kerk in Naaldwijk de WestMRKT georganiseerd. Caroline van LIVlicious zag een banner op Instagram en spontaan reden we er zaterdag heen om heel veel inspiratie op te doen.

Wat een mooie plek voor een lifestyle market, leuke spullen, aardige webshop eigenaars en geweldige styling! Door het enthousiasme van 4you Creatief ben ik bijna weer aan het breien. Hier wat sfeerbeelden.

En nu maar hopen dat er volgend jaar (of eerder) weer een WestMRKT wordt georganiseerd...

There are so many inspiring initiatives. thanks to the enthusiasm by denBestenstyling and Studio-2010 the WestMRKT was organized in the old church in Naaldwijk. Caroline from LIVlicious saw a banner at Instagram and spontaneously we went there this Saturday, to find lots of inspiration. What a nice place for a lifestyle market, nice things, friendly webshop owners and great styling! By the enthusiasm of 4you Creatief I am almost knitting again. Here some impressions. And fingers crossed that their will be organized a WestMRKT next year (or sooner)...

¡DaWanda Fimo Clay Challenge!

Eind juni werd de tweede bloggerslunch door Sandra van Accessorize your Home en Femke van Heeerlijk georganiseerd. Alle bezoekers kregen een goodiebag mee naar huis met o.a. een pakketje klei van DaWanda en een uitdaging om van die klei een leuk ontwerp te maken. Helaas was ik niet bij de bloggerslunch, maar ik werd helemaal geïnspireerd door de mooie foto's die op Instagram langs zag komen. Gemaild met DaWanda en ik mocht ook mee doen. Super leuk!

Ik werd geïnspireerd door de mooie zwaluw op een lucifersdoosje en moest meteen denken aan de luciferpoppetjes die ik vroeger had. Dat waren de grootste kadootjes die je me kon geven. Dus ik heb een aantal geluksdoosjes gemaakt.

Ik denk dat ik er nog niet klaar mee ben en er nog heel veel doosjes met mooie Fimo figuurtjes zullen volgen.

Hier kun je nog veel meer mooie ontwerpen zien die met de klei gemaakt zijn. Als je stemt op je favoriete ontwerp kun je een DaWanda bon winnen. Dus vind je deze (nummer 6) of de andere ontwerpen leuk, stem dan voor 18 juli 12.00 uur a.s.!

In June Sandra from Accessorize your home and Femke van Heeerlijk organised a second bloggers lunch. All the bloggers who attended the lunch, were surprised with a goodie bag with Fimo Clay, given by DaWanda. DaWanda challenged the bloggers to discover the material and make some nice designs with it. Unfortunately I couldn't attend the lunch, but I got so inspired by all the designs I saw at Instagram, so I mailed DaWanda and also received a parcel with the clay. So much fun! I was inspired by the swallow on a matchbox en and to think of the match dolls which I got when I was young. That were big moments of happiness, so I decided to make some Happy boxes. I don't think I am ready with them and I think the will follow a lot of boxes with little Fimo presents. Here you can see the other designs which are made with the clay. ¡I won... Air vases!

Deze week zat er een kadootje bij de post: ik won de mooie witte Air Vazen van de Give Away van My Attic en Kleur op Tafel. Wat ben ik daar blij mee, want ze stonden al zo lang op mijn wishlist!

Simpel en mooi en zelfs op een donkere dag als vandaag geven ze een mooi accent in huis.

ThanX My Attic en Kleur op Tafel!

This week I got a present by mail: I won the lovely white Air Vases from the Give Away by My Attic and Kleur op Tafel. I am so happy with them, because they were on my wish list for a long time! Simple and beautiful and even on a dark day like today they give. sparkle in my home. Now I will leave them like this, but I think this is a wonderful idea to use them as well.

¡Shops to inspire: Betjeman & Barton!

Al zo lang als ze in Den Haag gevestigd zijn ben ik fan van de theewinkel Betjeman & Barton. Ooit begonnen op de Frederikstraat en via daar verhuisd naar de Denneweg, waar ze een prachtige winkel hebben. Sinds twee jaar is er een tweede winkel in Den Haag, in prachtig stoer pand aan de Aert van de Goesstraat.

 

Natuurlijk draait het om thee in de winkels van Marion van den Blik, maar Oh wat zijn er nog veel meer leuke spullen te koop!

 

Mijn verzameling theeblikken is inmiddels zo groot dat ik er een verhuisdoos mee kan vullen. Favoriet zijn: Hanami, Le Mien (met prachtige rozenbladeren), Inédit, Les Invités en in de winter: Christmas tea, Luxury tea en Il était une fois Noël...

Zelfs al zijn ze dicht, dan zijn de etalages een feestje.

In Parijs zit de hoofd vestiging. Ik ben er nog nooit geweest, maar ik ben heel benieuwd of de winkel daar ook zo inspirerend is...

P.s. Het goede nieuws voor iedereen die niet in Den Haag woont: er is ook een webshop en de thee wordt in restaurants in heel Nederland geschonken. Daarnaast zijn er in de Nederland verschillende winkels die de thee verkopen (zie website).

Since Betjeman & Barton are selling their tea in The Hague, I am a fan of the delicious tea and very inspiring shops. Marion van den Blik started her shop in the Frederikstraat and went on to the Denneweg, where she has a lovely styled shop. Since two years, she started a second store at the Aert van de Goesstraat, in a very authentic building. Of course everything is about tea in the shops, but they even sell lots of nice other things. I have a great collection of tins with Betjeman & Barton tea. My favourites: Hanami, Le Mien (with rose petals), Inédit, Les Invités and during winter: Christmas tea, Luxury tea and Il était une fois Noël... Even when the shop is closed, you can do some nice windowshopping. Their homestore is in Paris, I have never visited it, but I am wondering if it has the same inspiration... The good news: the tea is sold in their webshop and you can drink it in lots of stay restaurants in the Netherlands. For more I formation and selling points: visit the website!
