Warm Burgundy, Rusty Brown, Pale Pink and a touch of Terra are my favourite colours. No wonder that I like this home so much while these colours have the main part. Mixed with wood and some pink copper, they give a light and minimalistic Scandinavian interior a warm Autumn Blush! Won't mind to hide myself with a book on a grey and rainy Autumn Day...

Warm Bordeaux Rood, Roest Bruin, Pastel Roze en een snufje Terra zijn mijn favoriete kleuren. Geen wonder dat ik dit huis, waar deze kleuren de hoofdrol hebben, zo mooi vind. In combinatie met hout en roze koper geven ze een licht en minimalistisch Scandinavisch interieur een warme Autumn Blush. Ik zou het helemaal niet erg vinden me te verstoppen met een boek in dit mooie huis op een grijze en regenachtige herfstdag....

In this time of the year, our home is getting more important. Of course we fill it with lots of Green, which is still a trending topic. Not only plants can give you a warm and cozy atmosphere, but also at the wall Green is the Theme!

As a teenager, I used to have green walls at my room. When i see this beautiful wallpaper, I really am in to a new Green wall. How I love the structures of the beautiful design! The chair is another wannahave. Beautiful retro velvet, with a seventies touch. This pictures shows that mixing prints in the same color scheme gives your home a real eyecatcher. 

I am in love!

In deze tijd van het jaar word ons huis weer steeds belangrijker. Natuurlijk is er al veel Groen in huis te vinden, want Groen is en blijft een trending topic. Niet alleen planten geven een warme en gezellige sfeer, maar ook aan de muur is Groen het thema! Als puber had ik groene muren op mijn kamer. Wanneer ik dit mooie behang zie, krijg ik meteen zin om dit op de muur te plakken. Wat vind ik de patronen op dit behang mooi! De stoel is een andere wannahave. Mooi retro fluweel, in een jaren 70 print. Deze foto laat zien dat je wanneer je prints in dezelfde kleur mixt, je een echte eyecatcher in huis haalt. Ik ben verliefd!

Hello everyone. I am back from my holiday. 

Though I miss the sunny days with lots of new places to discover, I am happy to be at home again.

This Indian Summer when the evenings are getting shorter, makes a good reason for some Autumn Bliss at home. How I like the use of colours in this tiny apartment, where a pink hall gives you a warm welcome. The dark colours at the wall and some pink accents makes it a very cosy home. Time to get my punk curtains back at the windows and enjoy lazy Autumn evenings!

Hallo allemaal, ik ben weer terug van vakantie. Alhoewel ik de zonnige dagen en alle nieuwe plekken om te ontdekken mis, ben ik blij dat ik weer thuis ben. Deze Indian Summer, wanneer de avonden weer korter worden zijn een goede reden om het thuis extra gezellig te maken: Autumn Bliss! Wat word ik blj van het kleurgebruik in dit kleine appartement, waar een roze hal je verwelkomt. De donkere kleuren op de muren en wat roze accenten maken het een erg gezellig huis. Het wordt tijd om mijn roze gordijnen weer op te gaan hangen en te genieten van lange luie herfstavonden!

Blue Blue

At the end of the season, I get a changing mood. In February I can't wait untill Spring starts and like now, at start of September I think exactly the same: Let's Autumn starts, lower the temperatures because than the candles at hom can burn again. Warm plaids at the couch and planning dinners at home with friends. Bliss and coziness at home instead of outside. Sometimes you are longing for that, do you recognize that?

To get some Autum Bliss at home, I thought of painting our front part of our living room en – suite. Ther walls were painted Dark Green and I wanted another color that matches with our Dark Green couches and the Dark Grey floor... Suddenly I knew: it has to be Blue.

I choose Dark Blue! After an afternoon of painting all walls of the front Living room have become Dark Blue. When you enter the room, it doesn't pull your attention I thought.... but when Anneke saw the color at the wall she immediately noticed it and said: 'You have another color at the Wall”. How funny that is? She visted us to have a drink and bring us some figs from her garden, and just that afternoon I finished the painting. It looks totally different and I am so happy with the result! But I would like a warm and sunny September, but at October 1th, It has to be Autumn ;-)

Geen dag zonder de Inspiratie van Instagram! Terwijl ik van mijn vakantie aan het genieten ben, deelt stijl icoon en mijn lieve IG Theo - Bert (@TheoBert_Pot), die ons inspireert met zijn mooie huis en blog The Nice Stuff Collector, deelt hier zijn kleurinspiratie voor de herfst!

Blauw Blauw

Aan het eind van een seizoen begint het bij mij te kriebelen. In februari denk ik, laat het voorjaar maar beginnen en zoals nu begin september denk ik weer precies hetzelfde: laat die herfst maar komen, de temperatuur maar dalen want dan kunnen de kaarsjes in huis weer aan. Gezellige plaids op de bank en thuis etentjes inplannen thuis. Kortom: gezelligheid in huis in plaats van buiten. Soms verlang je daar ook naar. Herkenbaar?

Om het nieuwe seizoen al wat meer in huis te halen, bedacht ik me om de voorkamer van onze woonkamer en-suite te gaan verven. De muren waren daar donkergroen en ik wilde juist een andere donkere kleur die past bij onze donkergroene banken en de donkergrijze vloer... en ineens wist ik het, dat moet blauw worden.

Donkerblauw, dat is 'm geworden. Na een middagje verven was het resultaat er, alle muren in de voorkamer donkerblauw. Als je binnenloopt valt het, dacht ik, niet meteen op.... maar Anneke zag de kleur op de muur en zei direct: “je hebt een andere kleur op de muur”. Hoe geestig is dat? Ze kwam langs voor een borrel en haar uit de tuin geplukte vijgen brengen, en die middag was het net klaar. Toch een heel ander gezicht en ik ben er ontzettend blij mee! Maar goed, een lange nazomer in september zou ik ook fijn vinden, maar 1 oktober moet het echt herfst zijn ;-)

Finally we have a little sunshine here! Hopefully it will stay a while so we can enjoy some fresh sorbets and creamy ice creams. I love the pretty pastel colours (and the great tastes) but even in your home they look great. Just some peachy pink or fresh mint gives your home a sunny sparkle. Have some sorbet pastel inspiration today!

Eindelijk begint de zo'n een beetje te schijnen! Hopelijk blijft het even mooi weer, zodat we van frisse sorbets en romige ijsjes kunnen eten. Ik word altijd blij van de mooie pastelkleuren (en heerlijke smaakjes) die ook geweldig staan als accentkleur in je huis. Een klein beetje perzik roze of fris mintgroen en je huis ademt zomer. When Spring is coming back in town, I am always inspired by lots of light and pretty pastels. These colors reminds me that it’s time for us and our houses to take off our winter clothes. And since the days are getting longer with more sun, it's time to open the doors and enjoy Spring!

So I got very inspired by this Victorian London house, filled with whites and pastels. Love the vintage furniture mixed with lots of flowers. The swans and authentic souvenirs give this house a Bohemian touch. And all over the house you can find beautiful original details... 

 A real Spring Dreamhouse to me!

Als de lente weer terug in de stad is, word ik altijd geïnspireerd door veel licht en fijne pastelkleuren. Deze kleuren doen me er altijd aan denken dat het tijd is voor ons en onze huizen om de winterkleren op te ruimen. En omdat de dagen langer worden en we steeds meer van de zon kunnen genieten, is het hoog tijd om de deuren te openen en van de Lente te genieten! Ik werd helemaal geïnspireerd door dit Victoriaanse huis in Londen, vol met licht en pastelkleuren. De vintage meubels zijn prachtige gecombineerd met vrolijke lentebloemen. De zwanen en de authentieke souvenirs in huis, geven het huis echt een Bohemian tintje. En dan kun je ook nog eens overal in huis prachtige details vinden.... Dat makt dit huis een echt Lente Droomhuis voor mij!

Though I am not very fond of blue, I was attracted to this beautiful table set.

Love the birch table and branch, which make a beautiful still life with the water coloured ceramics and glass. The spring flowers add even more freshness, so it would be great to have dinner on a table like this!

Blauw is echt geen favoriete kleur van mij, maar voor deze mooie tafel setting maak ik graag een uitzondering. Wat een prachtige berken tafel en stoel en wat staat het water blauwe servies en glad daar mooi bij. De lente bloemen maken er een nog frisser plaatje van, dus wat zou het fijn zijn om lekker aan te schuiven aan een tafel als deze!
