More and more people start working at home, so a lot of offices are empty..

Looking for a place to live in Paris is always a challenge, so why not make a home of an empty office?

AtelierBarda changed an old office into a great loft. I love the use of warm colours mixed with a lot of design classic chairs. Some authentic details like the brick walls, gives this loft an industrial atmosphere. But above all: with the beautiful windows, you have a great view at Paris.

Steeds meer mensen werken vanuit hun huis. Daardoor staan er een heleboel kantoren leeg. Op zoek gaan naar een huis in Parijs is altijd een uitdaging, dus waarom maak je geen huis van een leegstaand kantoor? Atelier Barda veranderde een oud kantoorpand in een geweldige loft. Ik vind de keuze voor warme kleuren echt geweldig, vooral in combinatie met alle mooie vintage design stoelen. Verschillende authentieke details, zoals stenen muren geven de loft een industriële look. Maar het mooiste van deze loft: door de prachtige groente ramen heb je een fantastisch uitzicht op Parijs!

How I love the beautiful large an mostly weathered and industrial spaces, where a lot of authentic details find their way as a home. In this beautiful large Paris Loft, a lot of beautiful Indian woodwork and Asian elements like Buddhas had been added. Though the windows give it an Atelier atmosphere, the wooden doors and windows makes you feel like being in a Morrocan Riad. The loft is totally decorated in soft natural tones and fabric..

Wish I could just see all this beauty myself and enjoy the lovely atmosphere....

Ik heb iets met lofts...

Wat ben ik dol op de mooie grote en vaak verweerde industriële ruimtes vol met authentieke details waar je een geweldig huis in kunt maken. In deze prachtige grote loft in Parijs zijn veel Indiaas houtwerk en Aziatische elementen als Boedha's toegevoegd. Alhoewel de grote ramen aan een atelier doen denken, geven de houten deuren en gevoel dat je in een Marokkaanse Riad bent. De loft is helemaal gevuld met warme naturellen en warme natuurlijke stoffen. Kon ik deze mooie plek maar eens bezoeken en genieten van de prachtige sfeer...

Margaux Beja is a talented designer and interior architect.

Situated in the historical Le Marais quarter, this loft is just a combination of raw materials and neutral tones. Margaux chose them to highlight the existing volumes. How I love the steel doors to the bedroom and the characteristic wooden details of the apartment. Would be great to stay over in this place during a trip to Paris...

Dat een droomhuis niet groot hoeft te zijn, bewijst deze prachtige loft, ontworpen door Margaux Beja. Margaux Beja is een talentvolle ontwerper en interieurarchitect. Deze prachtige loft in het historische Le Marais, heeft een geweldige combinatie van stoere materialen, gecombineerd met neutrale tinten. Margaux koos dit om de volumes van het appartement te benadrukken. Wat vind ik de stalen deuren naar de slaapkamer en de houten spanten mooi. Het zou geweldig zijn in dit appartement te kunnen logeren tijdens een bezoek aan Parijs...

Deze week organiseren Noëlla Straakenbroek en Carmen Dijkema op Ibiza de SoulFood week. Een week waarin yoga en meditatie maar ook lekker eten, van de zon genieten en dansen centraal staan. SoulFood week is een cadeau voor jezelf waarmee je ontdekt wie je bent en waar je talenten en passies liggen. En daarnaast is genoeg tijd om van het mooie Ibiza te genieten. Wat wil ik graag volgend jaar mee met deze bijzondere SoulFood week! Ook in 2015 wordt de SoulFood week weer twee keer gehouden. Kun je niet zo lang wachten? Everyone likes to enjoy the beauty’s of life, but it is easy to let life passing by to quickly. This week Noëlla Straakenbroek and Carmen Dijkema organize the SoulFood week at Ibiza. A week full of yoga and meditation but also delicious food, enjoying the sun and dancing. SoulFood week is a present to yourself to discover who you are and what your talents and passions are. Next to that there is enough time to enjoy the beautiful Ibiza. How I would like to join this special SoulFood week next year! Ther are planned two SoulFood weeks in 2015. De winkel die heel hoog op mijn verlanglijstje staat voor een bezoekje is Merci in Parijs! Gelukkig hebben ze sinds kort ook een website.

Daarop zijn deze fantastische notebooks te vinden. De kaft heeft de structuur van een boom en de pagina's een houtprint. ¡Wannahaves voor deze herfst!
