Rustica,
they call it in Spain. That means authentic, traditional.
So
when you built a new house on a corner of a street in Girona and it
looks like a Rustica old Spanish house which could have been ther for
ages, you created something special.
That’s
what Harquitectes from Barcelona did: they created a minimalistic
natural home where inside and outside are closely bounded.
Because
they used natural furniture, stone and wood, the home has a
Scandinavian minimalistic atmosphere. Though I am fond of a coloured
house, I really love the calm and peaceful atmosphere of this
beautiful home.
Rustica
noemen ze het in Spanje. Dat is wanneer iets traditioneel en
authentiek is. Wanneer je een nieuwe huis bouwt op de hoek van een
straat in Girona dat er van buiten uitziet alsof het er altijd al
heeft gestaan, dan heb je iets unieks gebouwd. Dat is wat
Harquitectes uit Barcelona deed. Zij ontwierpen een minimalistisch
traditioneel huis, waar binnen en buiten in elkaar overlopen. Omdat
er gebruik gemaakt is van naturel meubels, steen en hout, heeft het
huis een minimalistische Scandinavische sfeer. Alhoewel ik dol ben op
gekleurd huizen, ben ik dol op de rustige en verstilde sfeer van dit
huis.
