¡Colour Crush #2!

Orange, Brown, Yellow gold, warm Caramel & Toffee tones and a touch of Pink is my favourite colour palette are the moment. So when the days getting shorter and grey, it was time to spice up my home. Not just one or two colours, but a mix of them all, combined with a touch of lilac and purple.

Flowers and velvet cushions are the most important items to make this Colour Pop in my home, but it gets even better when my new sweater and the pepernoten have matching colours...

Oranje, bruin, geel goud, warme karamel & toffee tonen en een vleugje roze is mijn favoriete kleurenpalet op dit moment. Toen de dagen korter en grijzer werden, was het tijd om mijn huis op te fleuren. Niet met een of twee van deze kleuren, maar een mix van allemaal, gecombineerd met een vleugje lila en paars.

Bloemen en fluwelen kussens zijn de belangrijkste items om deze Colour Pop bij mij thuis te maken, maar het wordt nog beter wanneer mijn nieuwe trui en de pepernoten bijpassende kleuren hebben....

Warm Burgundy, Rusty Brown, Pale Pink and a touch of Terra are my favourite colours. No wonder that I like this home so much while these colours have the main part. Mixed with wood and some pink copper, they give a light and minimalistic Scandinavian interior a warm Autumn Blush! Won't mind to hide myself with a book on a grey and rainy Autumn Day...

Warm Bordeaux Rood, Roest Bruin, Pastel Roze en een snufje Terra zijn mijn favoriete kleuren. Geen wonder dat ik dit huis, waar deze kleuren de hoofdrol hebben, zo mooi vind. In combinatie met hout en roze koper geven ze een licht en minimalistisch Scandinavisch interieur een warme Autumn Blush. Ik zou het helemaal niet erg vinden me te verstoppen met een boek in dit mooie huis op een grijze en regenachtige herfstdag....

On the day where our King celebrates his 50th birthday, there have to be some Orange at ¡Muy Bien! As you know orange is one of my favourite colours, so I was so happy to find these beautiful pictures. Great how the terracotta matches with the beautiful greens plants and the natural baskets. In a setting like this it gives me a holiday feeling to see this sunny color.

Op de dag dat onze koning zijn 50e verjaardag viert, moet er natuurlijk een blog vol oranje op ¡Muy Bien! staan. Zoals jullie weten is Oranje een van mijn favoriete kleuren, dus ik werd heel blij toen ik deze geweldige foto's vond. Wat kleurt het terracotta prachtig bij de mooie groene planten en naturel manden. Gestyled zoals op deze foto's geeft het meteen een vakantie gevoel om deze zonnige kleur te zien.

In the Seventies colours like Brown, Orange, Yellow and Green were all over the modern houses. Mixed with rattan, bottles, photo printed wall paper with palmtrees and woods, poufs and a lot of macrame and plants your house was very hip and trendy these days.

I grew up in the Seventies and also had a lot of rattan, plants and Orange in my room. Still Orange and Brown are my favourite colours, so I am happy to see them more and more in interiors. Love this beautiful Brown tones and a touch of Orange to give it a sunny sparkle. I will spice up my Brown base with an Orange touch!

How do you think of this Seventies look?

In de seventies waren kleuren als Bruin, Oranje, Geel en Groen overal in moderne huizen te vinden. Gecombineerd met rotan, grote flessen, foto geprint behang met palmbomen en bos, poefen en heel veel macramé en planten hoorde je echt tot de hippe trendy huizen van die tijd. Ik groeide op in de seventies en had ook veel rotan, planten en Oranje in mijn kamer. Oranje en Bruin zijn ook nu nog mijn favoriete kleuren, dus ik ben erg blij dat deze kleuren weer helemaal terug van weggeweest zijn. Super mooi vind ik deze Bruin tinten met Oranje accenten om het een zonnig tintje te geven. Ik ga mijn huis met heel veel Bruin ook weer eens opvrolijken met wat Oranje accenten. Wat vind jij van deze seventies look?

Today was a day filled with grey, wind and rain...

After a day filled with inspiration and making new plans it's time to warm up at home. Cocooning on the couch with a warm blanket, a cup of tea, nice book and some chocolate... How nice would it be if my home would be coloured like this: filled with warm woollen greys and some rusty accents... 

My favourite colour palette!!

Vandaag was het een grijze regenachtige dag met veel wind... Na een dag vol inspirerende afspraken en nieuwe plannen, is het tijd om thuis lekker op te warmen. Dus cocoonen op de bank met een warme deken, een kop thee, mooi boek en chocolade... Wat zou het fijn zijn als mijn huis deze kleuren zou hebben: gevuld met warme wollen grijzen en wat roestoranje accenten... Mijn favoriete kleurenpalet.

While a lot of trends still are going strong in 2017, like the Urban Jungle trend, I am always looking for some new trends to share. How lucky I was to find this beautiful industrial trend with my favourite earthly and brown colors: Worker by StyleCookie.

I love the combination of the industrial steel and the warm terracotta tones. I just added some faded pink to my home, but I think I have to make some space in the house for these lovely color palette!

Terwijl een heleboel interieurtrends doorgaan in 2017, zoals bijvoorbeeld Urban Jungle trend, ben ik altijd op zoek naar nieuwe trends om te delen. Wat was ik blij toen ik deze prachtige industriële look met mijn favoriete aardetinten en bruine kleuren: Worker op de site van StyleCookie ontdekte. Ik ben dol op deze combinatie van industrieel staal en warm terracotta, Ik heb net vergrijsd roze in huis gehaald, maar ik denk dat er ook een plek moet komen in huis voor dit mooie kleurenpalet!

¡Home 2 Sell!

A seventies styled home, just it was like 30 years ago, that's how my friend Annet from Home2S, found this Home2Sell in Amstelveen. This house belonged to the parents of one of our youth friends and hadn't changed at all when she first entered it. 

Annet saw these seventies look as a chance to restyle the house with modern accents and colours like orange, blue and grey. Mixed with the authentic furniture, with look much better since the house was repainted. So she transformed this beautiful stand alone house in a warm and cosy home. It is now for sale, as seen here. Een vrijstaand huis in jaren zeventig stijl, dat was hoe mijn vriendin Annet van Home2S, dit Home2Sell in Amstelveen aantrof. Dit was het huis van een van onze jeugdvriendinnen en was in de jaren dat ze er niet geweest was, totaal niet veranderd. Annet zag de seventies look als een kans om het huis te restylen met moderne accenten en kleuren zoals oranje, blauw en grijs. Gemixt met de meubels die er al stonden en die door een flinke verfbeurt van het huis veel beter uitkomen... Zo veranderde ze dit authentieke vrijstaande huis in een gezellig thuis. Een grijze koude dag wordt een stuk mooier in een fijn ingericht huis.

In dit huis vol met natuurlijke materialen zoals rotan, kurk, groene planten, hout en warme gebreide en linnen kussens is een dag op de heerlijke bank geen straf! Door de rode rozenbottels en de terracotta deken, krijgt het huis een warme uitstraling: echte Autumn Bliss!
