Sundays are good for time to relax....

Green is the colour which gives you quietness and brings you into a relaxing mood. How I love this still life, with the beautiful green grey tones of the Eucalyptus and the beautiful honeycomb green tiles.

Great inspiration for a Home Hammam, with some beautiful accents of wood and brass....

Zondagen zijn goed om te relaxen...

Groen is de kleur van rust en brengt je in een ontspannen sfeer. Wat vind ik dit stilleven mooi, met de vergrijsd groene kleuren van de Eucalyptus en de mooie groene honingraat tegels. Geweldige inspiratie voor een een Home Hammam met mooie accenten van hout en brass...

It might not be the first place you think of to put a plant, but how great the effect is when you put some plants in the bathroom! 

A lovely green palm, gives your bathroom a tropical bohemian feeling. Like being on a holiday, when you take a bath. And through the foggy atmosphere of the shower and bath, your plants will feel great as well.

Het is misschien niet de meest voor de hand liggende plek om planten neer te zetten, maar wat een geweldig effect krijg je als je een plant op je badkamer zet! Een mooie groene palm, geeft je badkamer een tropische Bohemian sfeer. Net alsof je op vakantie bent als je een bad neemt. En door de vochtige lucht van de douche en het bad, voelt je plant zich ook geweldig. 

¡Still Life Sunday #9!

A good start for a Still Life Sunday, is to take a bath in your own Home Hamam. Although my bathroom is the only room in my home that needs to be rebuild (because of it awful tiles and interior), I am lucky to have a bath. So when I have saved enough to change my bathroom in a real home Hamam with beautiful Greys, wood and lovely tiles, this will be great inspiration!

Een manier om een Still Life Sunday te starten, is een bad nemen in je eigen Home Hamam. Mijn badkamer is de enige ruimte in huis die nog eens een flinke verbouwing moet ondergaan (vanwege de lelijke tegels en meubilair), maar gelukkig zit er wel een bad in. Wanneer ik genoeg gespaard heb om mijn badkamer in een echte Home Hamam te veranderen, met grijstinten, hout en mooie tegels, is dit geweldige inspiratie!

¡Must Visit: Chambres d' Amis Marrakech!

In deze tijd van het jaar, heb ik enorm veel zin om met vakantie te gaan.

Al jaren op mijn lijstje: een verblijf in Chambres d'Amis in Marrakech.

Deze prachtige riad van Ank v.d. Pluijm, vol met Marrokaanse beauty's is een oase in de altijd drukke medina. De prachtige producten die Ank via Household Hardware in Nederland verkoopt, komen hier goed tot hun recht. Ik zou wel alles mee kunnen nemen... En ik ben dol op alle kleur in dit huis. Volgend jaar toch maar eens mee met de Cool Crocket workshop die Ingrid van Wood Wool Stool hier organiseert...

This time of the year, I would love to go on a holiday. For years it is at my wish-list: to stay in Chambres d'Amis in Marrakech. This beautiful riad, owned by Ank v.d. Pluijm, filled with beautiful Moroccan furniture, is an oasis in the always busy medina. The beautiful products of Household Hardware, sold by Ank in the Netherlands, looks beautiful out there. And I love the colorful environment of this hotel. Next year I have to join the Cool Crocket workshop, Ingrid from Wood Wool Stool organises here...

¡Picture *LOVE* 17!

Mijn allergrootste wens in huis is een nieuwe badkamer in Hammam style.

Al heel lang was ik op zoek naar een digitale versie van deze foto, om mijn favoriete badkamer met jullie te delen. Ooit stond deze in een reportage over design Bead & Breakfast Viva Laterne in Limburg. 

Via Instagram kwam ik op het account van James Stokes, die de foto gemaakt heeft.

Helaas heb ik niet de mooie oude balken, maar wat zouden deze tegels en mooi wit sanitair mooi staan. Even verder sparen...

My biggest wish is to have a new bathroom in Hammam style. For a long time I was looking for the digital version of this picture, so I could share my favourite bathroom with you. Once I saw this in the Eigen Huis & Interieur magazine. This beautiful bathroom is made at Viva Laterne, a design Bed & Breakfast in Limburg (The Netherlands). At Instagram I found out that it was made by photographer James Stokes. Unfortunatly I dont have the old beams at my home, but how I would love to have the beautiful tiles and white bath and washing table...
