¡Give Away: Tuinposter van Fotogeprint!

Het is al weer even geleden dat ik van Fotogeprint een mooie print op hout weg mocht geven. En nu mag ik alweer iemand blij maken met het nieuwste product van Fotogeprint: een prachtige Tuinposter van 90x60 cm!

Lucky me, ik kreeg er zelf ook een! Ik wilde graag een zomerse look, dus na heel veel vakantiefoto's doorgespit te hebben, koos ik voor mijn favoriete vakantiefoto: dit prachtige poortje dat ik ruim 20 jaar geleden in Delhi fotografeerde. 

Op de betonnen muur in de tuin is het echt een eyecatcher!

De poster is gemaakt van extra stevig pvc doek. Dit is weerbestendig, net als de inkt waarmee je foto wordt geprint. De inkt is ook nog eens natuurvriendelijk waardoor de tuinposter zonder verkleuring jarenlang in weer en wind god blijft. De tuinposters worden standaard met kunststof ringen in de hoeken afgewerkt, maar ik koos om dat niet te doen.

Omdat het doek waterbestendig is ging ik op zoek naar een tak en bevestigde de poster daaraan, want dan kan deze ook een saaie badkamer opfleuren. (tip: behandel de tak met anti houtworm middel dan weet je zeker dat je geen beestjes in huis krijgt).

It's been a while since Fotogeprint offered me to organize a Give Away for a print on wood. And now I can make someone happy again with the latest product of Fotogeprint: a beautiful Garden Poster from 90x60 cm!

Lucky me, I got one as well! I wanted a summer look, so after a looking through a lot holiday pictures, I finally chose my favourite picture: this beautiful gate that I photographed in Delhi 20 years ago. On the concrete wall in the garden it is really an eye-catcher!

The poster is made from sturdy PVC cloth. This is weatherproof, as the ink with which is used to print the pictures. The ink is also environmentally friendly so the garden poster and is colors will remains for years in all miners of weather. The garden posters are standard with rings in the corners, so you can easily hang them but I chose not to do so.

Because the fabric is waterproof, I went looking for a branch and added the poster to it, because it can be a well very nice to place it in the bathroom. (Tip: treat the branch with anti-woodworm fluid, than you are sure that you wont get any bugs in the house).

¡Moodboard Monday #60!

Moorse motieven in prachtige vergrijsde kleuren, een mooie deur of poort... Je kunt me er altijd blij mee maken. Dit moodboard geeft me meteen een vakantiegevoel op een grijze dag. Ooit was ik in Amberfort, waar de mooie zwart gele poortjes te vinden zijn. Een echt sprookjespaleis. Toch maar weer eens een reisje naar een Oosters land plannen...

Moorish motives in greyish colors, a beautiful door or gate.... They always make me happy. This moodboard gives me a holiday-feeling on a grey day. Once I visited Amber fort, where the beautiful yellow – black gates are. A real fairytale palace. I think I have to make another trip to an eastern country...

¡Henna Art!

Zomer en Bohemian style horen helemaal bij elkaar voor mij. Lange rokken, rieten manden, mooie sieraden en alhoewel ik helemaal niets met tattoos heb, word ik heel erg blij van een mooie henna schildering op je voet, arm of rug.

Het mooist vind ik de traditionele henna die wel op kant lijkt als het net is aangebracht. Met veel strand en zee kan de schildering snel vervagen, maar dat is een goede reden om weer een ander mooi motief te kiezen. De laatste jaren heb ik er zelf geen, maar als ik deze beauty's zie, moet ik toch maar weer eens op zoek naar iemand die mijn enkel of pols kan beschilderen....

Summer and Bohemian style are a perfect match to me. Long skirts, rattan baskets, beautiful jewellery and though I don't like tattoos at all, I get very happy by a henna painting at your feet, arm or back. The traditional henna, I like best, because it looks like lace when it is just added. A lot of beach and sea makes the painting fade away quickly, but that's a good reason to choose another one. Last years I haven't had one, but when I see these beauty's, I have to look for someone who can paint my ankle or wrist ...

¡La Vie Bohème!

Al eerder schreef ik al een blog over de winkel waar ik altijd in vakantie stemming kom

 vanwege alle mooie spullen die ze verkopen: ¡La Vie Bohème!

Sinds begin juni kun je er nog meer inspiratie opdoen want La Vie Bohème is verhuisd naar een prachtige winkel waarin alle mooie meubels, accessoires, kussens en lampen nog beter tot hun recht komen. Er zijn verschillende stijlkamers ingericht. 

Mijn wishlist groeit en groeit...

Ga je een dagje shoppen, zet dan zeker een bezoekje aan het Statenkwartier waar je deze geweldige winkel vindt.

This is not the first time that I write a blog about one of my favourite stores where I always feel like I am on a holiday because of the beautiful: ¡La Vie Bohème! Since the start of June you can find even more inspiration because La Vie Bohème has moved to a beautiful new store where all the furniture, accessories, cushions and lamps are so much better at their place. The new shop has several style rooms. My wishlist is growing... So if you are planning a shopping day in The Hague, don't forget to visit the Statenkwartier where you can find this beautiful shop! 

¡Weekend styling!

PlMijn weekend begon met het maken van een verzameling Groen voor de #rainbowflashmob op Instagram. 

Ik gebruikte de mooie groene schaal die ik meenam uit Marokko en die helaas gebroken is. Ik kon geen afscheid nemen van de schaal (die ik toen net een paar weken had) en nu blijkt deze ook in stukken met wat mooie Marokkaanse foto's erbij een eyecather te zijn. De schaal heeft een nieuwe plek in huis en dat leidde meteen tot wat meer styling in huis en in de tuin.

My weekend started with the making of a Green collection for the #rainbowflashmob at Instagram. I used the beautiful green bowl, which I bought in Morocco but which is unfortunately broken. I couldn't trough it away (because I only had it a few weeks) and now it turns out to be an eycatcher with some beautiful Moroccan pictures. The bowl has a new place in home and that inspired me to do some styling at home and in the garden.

Delft krijgt steeds meer leuke restaurantjes en hippe winkels.
Midden in Delft, waar vroeger een bakkerij zat, zit Pure Food café Hills & Mills.

Hills & Mills is een familiebedrijf, opgericht door de twee broers Sheraz en Nawaz Kazmi, samen met hun vader Shahzad, die bij gasten bekend staat als ‘Papa Kazmi’. Voor ‘Papa Kazmi’ was het altijd een droom om samen met zijn kinderen een horecaconcept op te zetten: een Pure Food Café met een missie: mensen gelukkig maken. 'Papa Kazmi' en zijn familie maken je blij met pure producten: alles is gezond en huisgemaakt. De keuken van Hills (de Himalaya) & Mills (de Nederlandse molen) is een mix tussen de Indiase en Westerse keuken: een verwijzing naar de roots - Pakistan & Nederland - van de oprichters.

De inrichting is eenvoudig, maar gezellig: achter de grote coffeebar zit een gezellige huiskamer waar je heerlijk kunt genieten van een ontbijt, lunch of take – away als je haast hebt.

Delft is getting a lot more nice restaurants and inspiring shops. In the center of Delft, where used to be a bakery, is Pure Food Café Hills & Mills.
