¡Instagram Favourite: Theo-Bert Pot!

Geen dag zonder de altijd inspirerende foto's op Instagram! Als er iemand is die mij met zijn stijlvolle huis vol mooie spullen steeds weer weet te verassen, dan is het wel @theobert_pot!

Theo-Bert is eigenlijk altijd al bezig met dingen maken; waren het vroeger eigen gemaakte kleurboekjes, vouwpapier of inpakpapier, later werd het meer het aankleden van zijn vroegere (studenten)kamer, of een tafel dekken voor de hele familie. Het is toch fijn om net iets meer aandacht te geven aan de dagelijkse dingen, waardoor het allemaal net leuker wordt?

Hier heeft hij zijn werk gemaakt als grafisch ontwerper (co-founder van Studio Pot & van der Velden in Den Haag), waar hij veel bezig is met stijlbepalingen, concept denken, kleurgebruik, typografie, vorm en vanuit dit oogpunt houdt hij zich graag bezig met het interieur thuis. Samen met zijn partner bladert hij veel door magazines en boeken, bijna een soort van verslaving ;-) Daarnaast gaan ze regelmatig uit naar leuke nieuwe spots. Dit kunnen winkels zijn, maar ook musea, food, restaurants, hotels en designevenementen. Deze inspiratie deelt Theo-Bert op zijn Instagram account.

Op Instagram delen zoveel inspirerende mensen foto's. Dat werkt zo verslavend om te blijven kijken en nog meer mensen te gaan volgen. Instagram is zeker ook een bron van inspiratie voor hem geworden.

Met zijn IG account hoopt Theo-Bert mensen ook te kunnen inspireren en hierdoor zelf in huis te blijven veranderen en te experimenteren met kleur, vormen, grafische elementen en meubels.

Als hobby naast de studio heeft Theo-Bert een website waarbij hij voor mensen taartjes bakt op aanvraag: www.cake-taart.nl. Wederom draait het om leuke dingen in het leven!

Het is leuk om je met je hobby's niet te laten beperken tot een ding, maar juist de breedte op te zoeken, wat Theo-Bert blijkbaar nu doet :-). Van grafisch ontwerp tot interieur en van styling tot koken en bakken.

Theo-Bert woont in een oude Haagse wijk vol statige huizen, waar ik zelf ook jaren woonde en die mijn vrienden en ik "de leuke mensen buurt" noemen. Alhoewel ik nu in een heerlijk huis in de aangrenzende wijk woon, word ik altijd blij als ik er weer even terug ben. Zo leuk om bij Theo-Bert binnen te mogen kijken. Hier zijn mijn favorieten!

Not a day without the always inspiring pictures at Instagram! If there is someone who knows how to surprise me again and again with his elegant house full of beautiful things, then it must be @theobert_pot.

Theo-Bert is always busy creating things; when he was little it were homemade coloring books, folded paper or wrapping paper, later it became the styling of his former (student) room, or covering a table for the whole family. Isn't it nice to pay a little more attention to the daily things, by making them special?

He made his work as a graphic designer (co-founder of Studio Pot & van der Velden in The Hague), where he is busy with style provisions, conceptual thinking, use of color, typography, form and design and from there on styling his interior at home. Together with his partner, he is inspired by a lot of magazines and books, almost a kind of addiction ;-). They regularly go out to discover new nice spots likes shops, museums, food, restaurants, hotels and design events. This gives Theo-Bert inspiration which he shows at his Instagram account.

At Instagram many inspiring people share their photos. Theo-Bert to keeps looking at them and discovers many more people to follow. Instagram has certainly become a source of inspiration and another addiction to him.

With his own Instagram account, Theo-Bert wants to inspire people so that they start to change their homes and to experiment with color, shapes, graphics and furniture.

Next to his studio, Theo-Bert has a website where he bakes cakes for people on request, www.cake-taart.nl. Again it's all about fun things in life!

It's nice to when your hobbies are not limited to one subject, but to have different interests, just what Theo-Bert apparently is doing now :-). From graphic design to interior design & styling and cooking and baking.

Theo-Bert lives in an old The Hague neighbourhood full of ancient houses, where I also lived for years and which my friends and I call "the nice people neighbourhood"l. Although I live in a lovely house next to that area now, I'm always happy when I'm back there again. So nice to be able to look inside at Theo-Berts house. Here are my favourites!
