1. 8 ¡Muy Bien! 

A few weeks ago I was surprised by dear Jessica of NADesign who send me a beautiful print “Rietpluim” in my favorite colour Soft Pink. NADesign is a home accessory brand with handmade products such as plaids, pillows, lamps, bowls and candlesticks. NADesign loves honest materials with a no-nonsense feeling.

NADesign designed a new poster collection with Flowers and Herbs. Just take a look at the webshop and discover “Papaver” and “Kruid” in a beautiful color scheme, with beautiful green and the apantone colour of the year Coral.

“Papaver” in ochre is high on my wishlist to complete my little Art Wall...

Een paar weken geleden werd ik verrast door mijn Jessica van NADesign die me een mooie print "Rietpluim" stuurde in mijn favoriete kleur Soft Pink. NADesign is een woonaccessoire merk met handgemaakte producten, zoals plaids, kussens, lampen, schalen en kandelaars. NADesign houdt van eerlijke materialen met een no-nonsense gevoel.

NADesign ontwierp een nieuwe postercollectie met bloemen en kruiden. Kijk maar eens naar de webshop en ontdek "Papaver" en "Kruid" in een prachtig kleurenschema, met prachtig groen en de Pantone kleur van het jaar Living Coral.

"Papaver" in oker staat hoog op mijn verlanglijstje om mijn kleine Art Wall te voltooien ...

A house filled with flowers is always a good start of the day.

About 10 minutes from my home, there is an allotment complex, with a Social Work Greenery project. During summer time you can pick the blooming flowers. My favourites are the colourfull zinnias, mixed with dahlia's and marigolds. Back home I divided them into several vases. Next to my vintage flower chair, it’s a real flower bomb!

Een huis gevuld met bloemen is altijd een goede start van de dag. Op ongeveer 10 minuten van mijn huis is een volkstuin complex, waar ook een Sociale groenvoorziening werkplaats is. In de zomer kun je er de bloeiende bloemen plukken. Mijn favorieten zijn de kleurrijke zinnia’s gemixt met afrikaantjes en andere wilde bloeiers. Terug thuis verdeelde ik ze over verschillende vaasjes. Naast mijn vintage bloemen stoeltje, een echte Bloemen Bom in huis!

Though the trees are blossoming, it’s still cloudy. So let gets some spring into the house!

How I love this calm and serene Spring atmosphere! Think every home needs a place like this.

Wat duurt het dit jaar lang voordat het eindelijk lente is... Alhoewel de bomen nu vol bloesem staan, blijft het maar bewolkt... Dan maar wat lente in huis halen! Fijne kleurige lentebloemen en wat naturel meubels in een lege ruimte... Wat vind ik deze verstilde en serene lente sfeer mooi! Zo'n ruimte zou je in elk huis moeten hebben.

¡Urban Nature Culture Cushion Crush!

If there is one interior design brand, I fell in love with at first sight, it must be the Dutch brand: Urban Nature Culture! So how happy I am that they like ¡Muy Bien! Blog and they like working together. I already posted blogs with their ceramics and bamboo plates, but from now their beautiful designs will have a special place at my blog!

At their Instagram feed I saw their beautiful new cushions, in Heartwood pink from warm and fluffy materials. Just what my home needed! When they arrived it turned out that they match great with my curtains and vintage sari pouf, so a new colour scheme, with green and Heartwood pink came into my home!

What I like best about Urban Nature Culture, is that they use authentic materials and beautiful prints. You never have enough cushions, so you should take a look at the beautiful Urban Nature Culture collection. The Tibetan Sheep Fur cushion, is a real must have this winter. Smooth pink and warm fluffy threats, you have to touch this when you see it. My favourite is the Fern Leaf cushion with a beautiful hand painted print of a fern on it. (This one will stay! ) And of course there is an Old Pink Velvet one in the collection. Also warm coloured and the finishing touch of this set.

I bought some eucalyptus, wax flowers and Protea to make this styling complete. When you not in to Heartwood pink, there are a lot of other beautiful designs to discover here!

Als er 1 interieur merk is waarin meteen bij lancering verliefd op werd dan moet het wel Urban Nature Culture zijn! Dus wat ben ik blij dat zij ¡Muy Bien! Blog inspirerend vinden en dat ze het leuk vinden om samen te werken. Ik heb al eens eerder blogs gemaakt over hun mooie keramiek en bamboe borden, maar vanaf nu zullen hun ontwerpen regelmatig terugkomen op mijn blog!

Op het Instagram account zag ik de mooie nieuwe kussen collectie in Heartwood pink in mooie warme materialen. Net wat ik in huis nodig heb! Toen ik ze kreeg, bleek dat ze prachtig matchen met gordijnen en vintage sari poef, dus ik heb een nieuw kleurenpalet met Heartwood pink en groen in huis!

Wat ik het leukste aan Urban Nature Culture vind, is dat zij mooie authentieke materialen en authentieke prints gebruiken. En omdat je nooit genoeg kussens in huis hebt, moet je zekere een keer naar de kussen collectie van Urban Nature Culture kijken! Het Tibetan SheepFur kussen is echt een must have deze winter. Een zacht roze en warme fluffy schaapsvacht, die je wel moet aaien als je hem ziet. Mijn favoriet is het Fern Leaf kussen, met een prachtige handgeschilderde print van een varen. (Deze blijft hier!). En natuurlijk ontbreekt ook Old Pink Velvet niet in deze collectie. Ook een prachtige warme kleur en de finishing touch van dit trio.

Ik kocht wat eucalyptus, wax bloemen en Protea om deze styling af te maken. Ben je niet van het Heartwood pink, kijk dan even hier voor nog meer mooie kussens.

At this time of the year I spend a lot of time decorating my home. 

Of course there are always flowers all around my living room. My favourite vases are made of glass. How I love the simplicity of these models in which flowers and even a wooden branch, become a real eye catcher. So let's create some botanical stillifes!

In deze tijd van het jaar ben ik veel bezig met het stylen van mijn huis. Natuurlijk staan er altijd bloemen in mijn huis. Mijn favoriete vazen zijn simpel glazen exemplaren. De eenvoud van deze glazen vazen vind ik geweldig. In deze vazen worden bloemen en zelfs een houten tak echte eye-catchers. Dus snel wat van deze mooie botanische stillevens maken! 

¡Urban Jungle Bloggers: Tropicool!

We are enjoying a real Dutch Summer: Sunny Summerdays mixed with days of Tropical rain showers. 

What kind of weather is outside, inside its a Tropicool Urban Jungle with all kind of plants.

Though green plants like the Palm, Philopdendron, Banana plant and Allocasia are my favourites, more and more some tropical coloured plants with beautiful flowers, like the pink Bromelia and the Erythroneura with its little purple flowers, enter my house. They remind me of my travels to the South American jungle, which has been years ago. The green and pink jungle print at the wall make me think of the colours of the jungle, where a lot of beautiful coloured birds can be discovered on their way.

So I really like this Summer Urban Jungle Bloggers theme: Tropicool! Mixed with some rattan, my blooming Eucomis ( Pineapple Lily) and a copper bird I enjoy a tropical holiday at my home!

We kunnen dit jaar weer van een echte Nederlandse zomer genieten: hete zonnige dagen worden afgewisseld met dagen waarop de ene na de andere tropische regenbui valt. Maar wat voor weer het buiten ook is, hier in huis is het altijd een Tropische jungle, met allerlei verschillende planten. Alhoewel groene planten zoals de Palm, Philodendron, Bananenplant en Alocasia mijn favoriet zijn, komen er steeds meer tropische gekleurde planten met prachtige bloemen, zoals de roze Bromelia en de Erythroneura met zijn kleine paarse bloemetjes, in mijn huis bij. Ze herinneren me aan mijn reizen in de jungle van Zuid Amerika, al weer lang geleden. De groene en roze tinten op het Jungle wanddoek aan de muur, doen me denken aan de kleuren van de jungle waar veel mooi gekleurde vogels te spotten zijn. Dus ik ben heel erg blij met het zomer thema van de UrbanJungle Bloggers: Tropicool! Met wat rieten krukjes, de net bloeiende Eucomis (ananas lelie) en een koperen vogel, kan ik van mijn tropische vakantie thuis genieten!

We are enjoying some tropical Summerdays in the Netherlands.

These days makende dream of South European countries where beautiful with houses are coloured by loads of pretty coloured fruits and flowers. Beautiful Bougainville or fresh cactus fruits, I get t very happy when I see them. Until I have my holidays in September, I keep on dreaming of these Mediterranean views.

We kunnen heerlijk genieten van tropische zomerdagen in Nederland. Dagen als deze doen me denken aan Zuid Europese landen waar mooie witte huizen opgefleurd worden door mooi gekleurde bloemen en vruchten. Mooie bougainville of verse cactus vruchten, ik word er erg blij van. Totdat ik begin september met vakantie ga, droom ik nog even verder met deze Mediterrane plaatjes.

New month, New beginnings!

That's what the Urban Jungle Bloggers choose for the styling challenge for the Spring season.

The new plant beginning I like best, are the green leaves on my grape. Every year I prune it to the base, and every year it surprises me when green leaves appear. Since the wall with the grape is next to my garden doors, it means a green view. Some knotted Petunia flowers are waiting to sprout, and I put them at the grapevine. Feels like spring has begun!

The Urban Jungle Bloggers (a great initiative by Igor and Judith) is all about more green at home and enjoying the beauty of plants. Urban Jungle Bloggers from all around the world share ideas to create an Urban Jungle through styling ideas, DIY and green tips & tricks.

Nieuwe maand, Nieuw begin! Dat is het thema dat Urban Jungle Bloggers kozen voor de Lente styling. Het beste nieuwe groene begin, zijn voor mij nieuwe bladeren aan mijn druif. Ieder jaar snoei ik alle takken helemaal terug tot aan de stam en ieder jaar ben ik weer weer verrast als de druif weer flink begint te groeien. Omdat de muur met de druif precies naast mijn tuindeuren is, betekent het dat ik weer een groen uitzicht heb. Een paar geknakte Petunia bloemen wachten aan de druivenranken op nieuwe wortels. Het voelt alsof de lente nu echt begonnen is!
