¡Pom Pom Blanket!

Although we are almost at the end of the winter, there can be some cold and windy nights. A cold night needs a cosy night at home with a Pom Pom blanket. How I love these beautiful blankets which reminds me at beautiful Morocco. So how happy I was to discover this beautiful DIY Pom Pom blanket.

Gelukkig begint er een einde aan de winter te komen, maar toch kunnen we nog wat koude en herfstachtige dagen verwachten. Koude dagen vragen om gezellige warme avonden thuis met een Pom Pom deken. Wat vind ik deze dekens, die me doen denken aan Marokko, mooi. Dus ik was heel erg blij toen ik deze leuke DIY Pom Pom deken ontdekte. Alleen een linnen lap of deken en wol in mijn favoriete kleuren: oud roze en taupegrijs en je maakt je eigen Pom Pom deken. En wat zijn de foto's mooi waarop je kunt zien hoe je ze maakt...

¡Breakfast at: OMA Bistró Barcelona!

Struinend door de straten van Barcelona kom je heel wat leuke cafés tegen.

Mijn favoriet: OMA Bistró!

Of je nu een kop thee of koffie wil drinkende, genieten van een heerlijk ontbijt, de vers gebakken taarten of glas wijn of vermout (helemaal hip in Barcelona); bij OMA is het allemaal even lekker! OMA is een echte ontmoetingsplaats voor de “locals” met wie je aan de grote ronde tafel zo een gezellig gesprek hebt.

De industriële inrichting is super en het personeel ontzettend aardig! Ik at er mijn verjaardagsontbijt en ga er zeker weer langs bij mijn volgende bezoek aan Barcelona!

¡Muy Bien!

Strolling through the streets of Barcelona you find a lot of nice cafes. My favorite: OMA Bistró! Whether you want a cup of tea or coffee, enjoy a delicious breakfast, the freshly baked cakes or wine or vermouth (totally hip in Barcelona); everything tastes delicious at OMA! OMA is the meeting place for people from the neighborhood, so you meet a lot of “locals” who are always in to a nice conversation at the round table. I love the industrial interior and the staff is very kind! I enjoyed my birthday breakfast at OMA and I am sure I will pop by at my next visit to Barcelona!

Paseando por las calles de Barcelona te dan un montón de cafés agradables. Mi favorito: OMA Bistró! Si quieres tomar una taza de té o café, disfrutar un delicioso desayuno, pasteles caseras o vino o el vermut (ahora la bebida más popular en Barcelona); todo es delicioso! OMA es un lugar de encuentro por los “locales” , con los tiene una agradable convercación en la mesa redonda. Me encanta el interior industrial y la gente son muy agradable! Comí mi desayuno de cumpleaños allí y seguro regresara en mi próxima visita a Barcelona!

Dit moodboard geeft een goed beeld van wie Ageeth is. Wat ze leuk vindt qua sfeer, wat ze graag doet, haar kledingstijl en wat belangrijk voor Ageeth is: huiselijkheid, warmte, rust, creatief bezig zijn en een goed, zonnig humeur hebben (al is dat natuurlijk met de ups en downs van het leven). Dit probeert ze ook in haar eigen ontworpen producten te laten uitstralen.

¡Djemaa el Fna in Rotterdam!

Een plein vol slangenbezweerders, verhalenvertellers, henna schilderessen, karretjes met vers geperst sinaasappelsap maar vooral veel eettentjes vol heerlijkheden, echt een sprookje uit 1001 nacht: dat is het beroemde Djemaa el Fna plein in Marrakech.

Dit weekend van 8 augustus t/m 10 augustus 2014 is het eetplein Djemaa el Fna voor de tweede keer te vinden in het Rotterdamse Museumpark. Net als het origineel een gezellige markt waar alle Marokkaanse geuren je tegemoet komen. Geniet van de Marokkaanse sfeer onder de Rotterdamse sterrenhemel en proef van de Rotterdamse eetculturen. Daarnaast ook veel Marokkaanse muziek en andere activiteiten.

Nu maar hopen dat de zon dit weekend zich laat zien voor het ultieme vakantiegevoel! (Maar ook met een grijze wolkenhemel een must visit!)

EetpleinDjemaa el Fna

A square full of snake-charmers, storytellers, henna painters, trolleys filled with fresh orange juice but above all lots of delicious food, a real fairytale from 1001 nights: that's the famous Djemaa el Fna square in Marrakech. This weekend August 8^th until August 10^th 2014 the food square Djemaa el Fna can be found in Rotterdam for the second time. Just like the original, is is a cozy market with the delicious smell of lots of Moroccan foods. Enjoy the Moroccan atmosphere underneath the Rotterdam starry sky and enjoy the Moroccan food culture. Next to that there is a lot of Moroccan music and other activities. I hope that the sun will show up this weekend, for an ultimate holiday feeling! (But even with a cloudy sky a must visit!)

Delft krijgt steeds meer leuke restaurantjes en hippe winkels.
Midden in Delft, waar vroeger een bakkerij zat, zit Pure Food café Hills & Mills.

Hills & Mills is een familiebedrijf, opgericht door de twee broers Sheraz en Nawaz Kazmi, samen met hun vader Shahzad, die bij gasten bekend staat als ‘Papa Kazmi’. Voor ‘Papa Kazmi’ was het altijd een droom om samen met zijn kinderen een horecaconcept op te zetten: een Pure Food Café met een missie: mensen gelukkig maken. 'Papa Kazmi' en zijn familie maken je blij met pure producten: alles is gezond en huisgemaakt. De keuken van Hills (de Himalaya) & Mills (de Nederlandse molen) is een mix tussen de Indiase en Westerse keuken: een verwijzing naar de roots - Pakistan & Nederland - van de oprichters.

De inrichting is eenvoudig, maar gezellig: achter de grote coffeebar zit een gezellige huiskamer waar je heerlijk kunt genieten van een ontbijt, lunch of take – away als je haast hebt.

Pssst... er wordt gewerkt aan een Pure Food café in Den Haag...

 

Delft is getting a lot more nice restaurants and inspiring shops. In the center of Delft, where used to be a bakery, is Pure Food Café Hills & Mills. Hils & Mills is a family owned company, founded by two brothers Sheraz and Nawaz Kazmi, with their father Shazad, who is called ‘Papa Kazmi’. To ‘Papa Kazmi’ it was always a dream to create a catering concept with his children: a Pure Food Cafe with a mission: make people happy.'Papa Kazmi' and his family make you happy] with Pure Food: everything is healthy and homemade. The kitchen of Hills (the Himalayas) & Mills (Dutch windmills)is a combination between the Indian and western kitchen: which resemblance the roots - Pakistan and The Netherlands- from the founders. The furniture of Hills & Mills is simple and cosy: behind the large coffee-bar is a cosy living room where you can enjoy your breakfast, lunch or take – away when you are in a hurry. Pssst... they are working at a Pure Food Café in The Hague...

¡Breakfast at..... Olivia te cuida in Madrid!

 Nog twee weken en dan ga ik richting Madrid! Al jaren een lang gekoesterde wens om daar mijn verjaardag te vieren en vooral om daar de de Gabalgata (Drie Koningen optocht) te zien op de avond voor mijn verjaardag. Vanuit Asturias (Noord Spanje) vertrekken we per trein naar Madrid om een paar dagen te shoppen en lekker te eten. Een plek ik zeker heen wil voor een ontbijt of lunch is Olivia te cuida (in het Nederlands: Olivia zorgt voor je).

Voor Spanje niet zo gewoon: een industriële inrichting. Gecombineerd met healty food een must visit! (en in dezelfde straat schijnen ook nog een paar leuke conceptstores te zitten...)

P.s. Olivia te cuida is maar klein, dus vergeet niet te reserveren!

In two weeks I will visit Madrid! For years it was my desire to celebrate my birthday there, especially to visit the Gabalgata (Three Kings Parade) at the evening before my birthday. From Asturias (the north of Spain) we will travel by train to Madrid to do some shopping and enjoying good food. A place which I really want to visit for breakfast or lunch is Olivia te cuida (Olivia will take care of you). For Spain an unusual: an industrial style as home decoration. Combined with healthy food: a must visit (and in the same street are some conceptstores as well...) p.s. Olivia te cuida is a very small restaurant, so don't forget to make a reservation!
