¡Shops to inspire: The Fine Store!

Het Zeeheldenkwartier in Den Haag begint steeds meer the place to be te zijn voor leuke en inspirerende winkels.

Sinds een week is de Piet Heinstraat een geweldige woonwinkel rijker: The Fine Store!

Puur, eerlijk en stijlvol design, dat is waar het bij The Fine Store om draait. Alle producten zijn met liefde gemaakt en komen uit Europa.

De eigenaars van deze mooie conceptstore zijn de ontwerpers Eveline en Marianne Maat van By Mölle. Alle ontwerpen van By Mölle zijn geproduceerd bij kleinschalige weverijen en er worden alleen Europese natuurproducten als Scandinavische wol of recycled denim gebruikt. Naast de dekens met de molen motieven zijn er ook mooie kussens, tafelkleden, tafellopers en linnen servetten. Ik was al fan van dit ontwerpduo, maar vind het nu nog leuker omdat het stadsgenoten zijn.

Een winkel vol must haves voor je huis, mijn wishlist groeit en groeit....

Ben je in Den Haag, breng dan zeker een bezoekje aan de Piet Heinstraat en sla The Fine Store niet over!

P.s. Van 16 - 18 mei 2014 wordt het eerste Designkwartier festival in het Zeeheldenkwartier georganiseerd. Het wordt een weekend waar veel nieuw Nederlands design en primeurs van de designweek in Milaan te zien zijn. Tijdens het festival zijn er pop-up stores, specials in bestaande winkels en exposities. Je vindt er design recht uit het atelier en met de verhalen van de ontwerpers. Hier vind je meer informatie. Ook The Fine Store heeft ontwerpers te gast.

More and more the Zeeheldenkwartier in The Hague is becoming the place to be for inspiring shops. Since a week there is another beautiful hotspot atthe Piet Heinstraat: The Fine Store. Pure, Honest and stylish design, that is what you can find at The Fine Shop. All products are made with live and produced in Europe. The owners of this beautiful conceptstore are designers Eveline and Marianne Maat from the Dutch design brand: By Mölle. All designs from By Mölle are produced at small weaving mills and only European natural materials like Scandinavian wool and recycled denim. Next to the beautiful blankets with nice mill designs, the By Mölle collection consist of cushions, tablecloths and linen napkins. I still was a fan of this design duo but like the designs even more because it's is The Hague design. A store full of wanna haves for your home, my wishlist grows and grows.... If you visit The Hague, don't forget to go to the Piet Heinstraat and visit The Fine Store!

P.s. At May 16 - 18th, the first Designkwartier festival will be held at the Zeeheldenkwartier. It will be a weekend full of new Dutch Design and sneak peaks from the Milan Designweek. At the festival there will be pop-up stores, specials in all the stores and exhibitions. You can find design straight from the studio and with the stories of the designers.
