Over
het mooie nieuwe Centraal Station in Rotterdam is al veel geschreven.
Verrassend genoeg nog niet over de Stations Huiskamer. Waar we het
voorheen met saaie stationsrestauraties moesten doen, heeft Rotterdam
daar verandering in gebracht met de mooie Stations Huiskamer.
De
Stations Huiskamer is een mooie, stoere plek geworden met veel
tijdloos en vintage design. Met alle gezellige hoekjes en de
bijzondere leestafel, ademt het een gezellige sfeer uit. Een prima
plek voor een ontbijt of kopje koffie, maar je ziet er ook veel
mensen die hier aan het werk zijn.
Bijzonder
detail zijn de vintage items die naar het spoor verwijzen. Je hoeft
niet bang te zijn dat je de trein mist, want overal hangen borden met
de vertrektijden van de treinen.
De glazen wand maakt een mooie
verbinding met de stationshal.
Jammer genoeg is er buiten heerlijke
broodje en muffins geen diner te verkrijgen,
maar dit is zeker een
prima plek om een dagje Rotterdam te starten!

lot has been written about the beautiful new Rotterdam Central
Station. Surprisingly, the Stations Huiskamer (The Station Living
Room) hasn't been in the spotlights. Formerly we had dull an fantasy
less station restaurants, but Rotterdam made a big change with the
beautiful Stations Huiska work here. Special details are the vintage
railway items. You don't have to be afraid to miss your train because
there are information boards with the timetables of the trains
everywhere around. The wall of glass connects the Stations Huiskamer
with the station hall. Unfortunately you can't have dinner here. the
Stations Huiskamer has a raw and industrial look and is decorated
with timeless and vintage design classics. With all the nice corners
and the special reading table, it has a cosy atmosphere. A good place
to have breakfast or a cup of coffee, but there are also a lot of
people who work here, but with the tasty muffins and sandwiches, it
is a good start for your trip in Rotterdam.
